Environments at Work (EAW) partnered with Lumenpulse for its US headquarters relocation to Post Office Square in Boston. Founded in 2006, Lumenpulse is an innovative designer and manufacturer of LED lighting solutions.

Lumenpulse’s new, larger space was chosen to accommodate growth and needed to provide comfortable and ergonomically correct worksettings for the engineering, design and innovation team, inside sales/customer service, and technical sales support teams that reside in Boston.

The project consisted of 48 workstations, 8 private offi ces, conference rooms, and common spaces including a café, training room, and breakout areas. Environments at Work selected Haworth products that off ered a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. Finishes for the furniture were intentionally chosen in neutral tones with minimal splashes of color, to showcase Lumenpulse’s lighting effects throughout the space. In addition, the workstation design incorporated ergonomically correct height-adjustable tables allowing flexibility and comfort for each employee.

The Environments at Work project team satisfied Lumenpulse’s desire for a high quality furniture solution completed on time and within budget.

“This was my first time working on an office relocation.  The process was flawless working with Roger, Nikki, and the team at Environments at Work. At every turn, they responded quickly and were supportive of our needs. Their product suggestions were spot-on; they helped us create a “high/low” mix of solutions to stay within budget but always with a concern for the well-being of our employees. For example, we paired ergonomic stand up desks with a value-engineered desk chair. As a result, our employees are pleased; our space is utilized wisely to accommodate individual comfort and privacy.”

“Lumenpulse originally planned to continue working with our current furniture supplier for our Boston headquarters relocation project, but after meeting with the team at Environments at Work, something just clicked. Roger and Nikki approached the project with creative, open minds. We never felt as if we were simply offered a quick, ‘cookie-cutter’ solution.  EAW provided beautiful and functional products that surpassed our expectations and solved our facility needs as a growing company. The process was truly a team effort; dare I say “fun”.  Our employees are thrilled with their new workspace and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with EAW on future projects.”
