Omega Funds

Boston, MA

Environments at Work (EAW) helped Omega Funds create a modern, high-impression workspace for the investment firm’s new offices. The client relocated to a light-filled space with floor-to-ceiling glass at 888 Boylston Street overlooking Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.

EAW is committed to establishing a functional working partnership with its clients. Critical to the process is maintaining clear communication throughout all phases of a project – from initial client contact, through design development, to final installation. Utilizing its “real-time design” strategy, EAW especially eased communications during Omega’s project at the design development and review phases. EAW facilitated clear communication among all project team members resulting in efficient project meetings, eliminating confusion and helping the Omega team accelerate its approval process. Omega was able to successfully finalize design, finishes and color selections for the entire space in a short time.

This team collaboration also resulted in a custom-designed private office solution that includes height-adjustable tables for user comfort and flexibility – to support each person’s work style. For open areas, low profile, benching-style stations were the solution to increase communication, maximize sightlines and natural daylight within the space. Additionally, a 12-seat “incubator space” lives within Omega’s new office designed as a mentorship resource for growing and early-stage businesses.

A more formal conference center for client-facing and executive meetings features a glass, retractable wall that allows flexibility within the space. The conference rooms can be combined or be divided as needed. Custom tables highlight the modern aesthetic alongside high-end common area furniture.

A collaboration of all project team members including the architect, end-user, project manager, and EAW resulted in a beautiful space that met and exceeded the client’s expectations.
