The City of Holyoke completely renovated and expanded its historic and architecturally significant 1902 Public Library making it the focal point of the city’s rejuvenation.  Environments at Work (EAW) provided much of the new furniture that was specified for both the new and renovated portions of the library.

The Neo-Classical library which for over 110 years has served the Holyoke community was renovated and expanded this past year.  The library more than doubled in size during the renovation and expansion project which was designed by Finegold Alexander Architects of Boston.  The library, which beautifully blends the old with the new, now provides state of the art technology, community meeting space, and program space that will meet the needs of Holyoke’s diverse community for many years to come.
